Adorable hair clip holder for baby shower!

Fun hair clip holder and a whole lot of clips gift for a baby shower.  Loved making these for my close friend!   The yellow polka dot fabric is ridiculously adorable and one of my favorites! Worked out perfect that my close friend is a BIG fan of yellow.

A couple decorations for baby girls baby shower!

Was asked to help with some of the decorations for a baby shower.  The above picture was a plate chosen for the theme.  Fun!

I decided to get some crepe paper streamers in three of the colors of the baby shower.  The above photo shows the plate black but it's really brown.  I got one of my wood dowels to put the crepe paper on so it wouldn't get all wackadoodle once I started sewing it.

Time to ruffle away!

Love the finished product of the crepe paper!! So fun, easy and inexpensive!!

Next I made some paper pom pom's to put on some wood dowel's and then put them in a vase with some peanuts - to go with the theme. Threw a couple pink paper elephants in the vase.  LOVE how it turned out.  Wish I would have gotten some better photo's to show y'all.  Finished it off with a cute brown bow.

Fun baby shower cake pops!

Cute little baby cake pops for a baby shower.  Found the idea in Bakerella's cake pop book - such an amazing book... if you don't have it... GO GET IT.  Everything is so beautifully done in it I get sensory overload looking all the awesomeness!

Lilo & Stitch Cake Pops with some Camo Cake Pops!!

I love it when I get a order for cake pops where I get creative freedom!  She let me know her little man had a huge obsession with camouflage but wanted two separate special detailed cake pops for the birthday boy.  Since seeing Bakerella do these Lilo & Stitch pops I have been wanting to give it a try. Absolutely adore how they turned out.  Held it in front of my 4 year old for the true test...

Me: "Who's..." that's all I could get out before Eman started yelling.. "LILO!!"
Mission complete.

Now for the camouflage lover pops.

The request was for some army colored green pops with camouflage ribbon.  I knew there had to be a way to make a cake pop look like camouflage itself so I decided to play around and figured out the trick to make it happen!  Yay!  Love how they turned out.

As you receive goodness from others, pass it on.

It's about that time again.... girls night :)  Liz and I stopped at Starbucks on our way to Seattle and got ourselves a Cranberry Bliss Bar.... oh my delicious word.  I forgot how good those were!  They were selling a box of them for about $13.  I told Liz I would make her some instead.  Found a recipe that looked like it would compare and boy oh boy did it!  Made it for out girls pottery night since Liz was going to be there.
002
I should have made them earlier that day so I wasn't as crunched for time.  I could have let them set up more so the cuts would have been crisper.  Didn't change the taste though.... they were ohhhhhh soooooo delicious.

Jenni, Shanon and Hailey.... didn't get a picture of the other ladies... sorry girls!  I was distracted by all the fun.  Speaking of distracted.... check out my ornament below... haha...
005
I was having so much fun with my ladies I wasn't paying attention each time I was drawing the snowman on it.  Anything you draw in marker will burn off when it gets fired so it won't show up.  I had redrawn it so many times I couldn't see which one was which anymore! hah. Finally I decided to go a different route.

007
I made one for each of the kiddo's.  One of our little family traditions is we get a new family ornament each year or we each do an individual one.  I love having all my ornaments from my childhood.  Hope my kiddos will love having theirs when they are all grown up :)

Thanks for the fun night ladies! Until next time... :)
