Sunshine on me, lift me up so high!

More craftiness for spring. Centerpiece for kitchen table complete. Wreath for front door complete.

Time for some flowers!

Got some pots... they were a bit on the drab side for me.
Add some paint.

Add some felt flowers and trim.

6 pin wheels... one for each potted plant

Time to plant some flowers :)

007

Aaron being the oh so nice hubby that he is went and got the flowers for me. Not exactly what I was hoping for... see these flowers like to be outside.... I wanted the pots to be inside... minor problem.
See, this is what the flower looks like if you leave it inside for a day :) Gonna get some different flowers to plant in the pots.
Fun spring idea, sad flowers. ;)

I love the way you say good morning, and you take me the way I am!

I heart my new paper flower centerpiece. It makes me smile when I walk into the room.
Next on my spring makeover agenda.... a new spring wreath for the front door.
I ran across this idea from one of the crafty blogs I follow. Provides MUCH inspiration!

You're welcome.

Cake pops, minus the pop.. with LOVE.

001

002

003

Ms. Izzie-bizzie requested I make cake pops for her Valentines Day party at her school... an excuse to bust out some cake pops! OK! :) The fact that they were for all her friends and classmates made it extra fun.
Chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting. Placed in milk chocolate cup molds. Dunked in white chocolate dyed pink. Sprinkled with LOVE.... and completely safe for her nut free classroom. :)
Made cute little tags for them and packaged them up.

If you haven't noticed I love any excuse to decorate and participate in holidays! Our Valentines Day decorations.

Sad. Happy. Twirls. LOVE. :)

I was able to capture my favorite part of the skirt I made for Ms. Izzie-bizzie....
...THE TWIRL!

Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad.

She's crafty - and she's just my type She's crafty!

OK, for all you Beastie Boy fans out there... sorry to let you down. But whenever I get my craft (actual crafts ;) ) on that song by Beastie Boys pops into my head. Don't know it? It's on License to Ill. Check it.
w00t.
Anywhooooo...
I was quite inspired and decided to let it out.... I've ran across the pillowcase dress a few times on many of the random craft blogs I follow... I decided to come up with my own version. Here you have it:
001

002
I couldn't help myself.... had to make a shirt for the Eman that matched Ms. Izzie-bizzie's dress. Aren't they gonna look adorable!?!
003
and if the dress wasn't cute enough... let add a flower hair clip made out of zippers! Yup, that's right. I didn't come up with this idea. Fun, huh? When I saw it... had to see if I could make one.
004
Yes, apparently the cute dress and hair accessory wasn't enough for me. I made Izzie some oh so adorable leg warmers with  cute matching bows on the ankles. Was EXTREMELY stoked when I was doing my morning blog reading and saw someone do a post on how to make leg warmers!
I can hardly contain myself when I see little girls with leg warmers... ADORABLE. I have tried to purchase them in the past but they were always out of the size I needed for Izzard for the color.... bah. Not anymore.
The possibilities are endless.
Muhaha.
w00t.
OK, more cuteness.
I'm excited, can you tell?
005
Got this fabric for 99 cents a yard. I couldn't pass it up. A bit on the boring side for me and Ms. Izzie-bizzie... when in doubt add ruffles! ;)
006
Yes, I made a matching hair accessory. How could I not?
007
Another zipper flower clip.
Love.
008
OH my goodness.
I can hardly contain myself with these leg warmers. If I could pull them off... I would wear them everyday. Yup, everyday... ok. I might take them to wash from time to time.
Whew.
and there's more.....
010
My favorite part about this skirt is watching Izzie spin in circles when she wears it.
Puts a smile from ear to ear.
What's it missing....  a hair accessory... but of course!
009

011
On the inside of the dress and both skirts you'll find this tag... "Specially Hand Made By Mommy"!!
LOVE.
I definitely got my craft fix.
Feels good.
Real good. :)
