Love is the thread that binds us together.

Sooooooooooooo...... yes.... what you are seeing is correct.  That is the quilt that I started and finished the top of as a Christmas present for Aaron last year.  Yes, it's almost October (when these pics were taken)... so? ;)
I made the top of this quilt knowing nada, zero, zip about quilting.  Before Izzie's birthday in June I took a quilting class and realized how much I did wrong on Aaron's quilt.  I am a wee bit of a perfectionist which made it that much harder for me to finish Aaron's quilt.  I finally came to terms with the fact that it wasn't going to be perfect, it wasn't going to be done correctly and that's ok.  It was made with massive amounts of love! :)
(ignore the cell phone quality pics :) )

Aaron loves it and I love snugging with Aaron on the couch with it!!  That's really all that matters.

Happiness and joy pour through me and through my life.

Got a order for some cake pops.  I heart it when Britt puts a order in... she lets me have creative freedom! ;)  She wanted some brown and pink themed cake pops.  Since getting Bakerella's book I have been wanting to give the Owls a whirl.
I made a vanilla cake that was dyed hot pink and mixed it with vanilla butter cream frosting also dyed hot pink.

Life is the perfect school. No one ever fails.

003
I am finally able to post this on the blog! :)  I've had these purses made since August for two good friends birthdays and one good friend wanted it to share with someone else.  Birthday's are past so here you go!
004
Wish I would have taken a picture of the inside of this purse.  Friends favorite flower is the gerbera daisy.  See the fabric for the flower on the outside of the purse?  That is the whole inside of the purse.  Loved how it turned out.
005
On top of not getting a photo of the inside of the purse... this one is blurry! disappointment.  Apparently I was quite rushed.  Drat.
006
Now the 2nd purse, front view. Friend asked me to make a purse she could give to her sister in law for her birthday.  Done and done.  I really like how this one turned out.
007
The back view of the purse.  Decided to start doing different flowers on each side of the purse.  Give the ladies some options.
008
Now the 3rd purse.  My bff's birthday from High School (wow, high school.... what was awhile ago!) was coming up.
Page022
She was going to be making a visit to Spokompton days after her birthday! Yay!  Her favorite colors are orange and yellow.  Mine are orange and pink.  Found a few fabrics that combined both our favorites.
009
View of the flower on the front of the purse.
010
Since I was lacking in photo's on the other purses decided to over do it on the photo's on this purse.  There is a pocket that covers the whole front and back.  One of my favorite features of this purse.
011
Flowers I made for the back of the purse.  All the flower's are attached to pins and can be removed at any point and used for other things.  Another favorite of this purse.
012
Loaded the inside with my things so you can get an idea how big the inside is.
013
Remember the purse I made for the twin's birthday a while back.  Sent her some flowers to go on the front of it.
014
I liked the look of them so I added them to the purse I made for myself awhile back.
015
Yay, for some craftiness time. :)

Today's Positive Thought
